  • Get on the Air(GOTA) station for kids and adults
  • National Weather Service Display
  • American Red Cross Display
  • Riverton Fire Department Smoke House
  • Springfield Makers Group Display
  • Classes for Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts
  • Lincubate (Lincoln and Logan County Illinois Technology Incubator)

Field Day

Field day runs from Saturday, June 24th from 10:00 AM to Sunday, June 25th at noon. 

What is Field Day?

It's where ham radio operators set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate ham radio's science, skill and service to our communities.  It combines public service, emergency preparedness, community outreach and technical skills all in a single event.  Some dedicated ham operators transmit all day and night!
