This year, the SVRC is going to host the field day station at the Red Cross 3rd floor club meeting room on June 22 & 23. You can sign up for specific one-hour blocks during the nearly two-day event. We are trying something new by operating from the club station in hopes of garnering more public participation and demonstrating to our sponsor, the American Red Cross, our ability to conduct grand scale communications from their facility. This is only a trial. If we wish, we can return to the Riverton School location next year.
For those who miss the “field” – never fear. We have scheduled an official October club picnic and ‘field day’ of our own at Richardson Club House near Barclay.
